This restaurant is located in the 300 year old cellar connected to the Hotel Preysing. Only the freshest ingredients are used. The fish and seafood are stored in aquariums on the premises prior to cooking.

Located in the Englischer Garten, the park lying between the Isar River and Schwabing, this beer park serves beer and Bavarian food. Oompah bands often play.

Nurnberger Bratwurst-Glockl am Dom, Frauenplatz 9,Telephone 29-52-64

First opened in 1893, it was rebuilt after World War II. Old Bavarian favorites are found here.

Ratskeller, Marienplatz 8, Telephone 22-03-13

This is a traditional cellar restaurant in the Rathaus (City Hall) basement. It serves inexpensive good food and wine. Bavarian music is often played.

Spatenhaus-Braustuben, Residenzstrase 12, Telephone 290-70-60

One of the best known beer restaurants in Munich. It serves generous portions of typical Bavarian food, and Spaten-Franziskaner-Bier (the restaurant's own beer).

Seasonal Bavarian specialties served in a hunting lodge that was once owned by the kings of Bavaria.
