All baggage must be labeled with the
passenger's name and address. Valuables, medicines, documents and
business papers as well as fragile items must be carried as hand
baggage. Oversized baggage (with combined height, width and depth
being larger than 80"/203cm and/or weighing more than 70lbs/32kg) is
charged three times the excess baggage charge. Passengers are
advised to purchase additional baggage insurance through their
travel agent or other source. Strollers and wheelchairs are
transported free of charge.
Sports Equipment up to 66lbs/30kg per person is

CHECK-IN |
Available at Berlin, D�sseldorf,
Frankfurt, Hanover, Munich and other LTU German airports for
your convenience (only for LT-operated flights). Late-night
check-in can be done on the night before your departure between the
hours of 6pm and 9pm (7pm - 9pm at Berlin-Tegel) for early morning
flights. All travel documents (ticket, passport, etc.) are required
at check-in and late-night check-in is not possible when departing
Frankfurt on the LTU Sky Shuttle. |

For safety reasons, dangerous items
may not be packed in checked or carry-on baggage or taken on board
with you. Restricted articles include, but are not limited to: acid,
matches, lighter fluid, explosives, flammable solids/liquids,
oxidizing materials, corrosive materials, compressed gases, poisons,
infectious substances, radioactive materials, irritating or
incapacitating sprays, volatile noxious materials, and briefcases
and cases with installed alarm devices. |

Passengers are responsible for
compliance with regulations and may be denied boarding if documents
(valid passport, visa if applicable, etc.) are not in order or

Pets are welcome on LTU.
Passengers are responsible for obtaining health documents for the
import of animals to other countries. Contact the nearest consulate
or embassy for more information. Kennels are accepted as one piece
of baggage under the 2-piece concept. Reservations are required at
least 72 hours in advance. |
